The Prosecast is back

Good news in my inbox yesterday. My former podcast-labelmate Cathi Bond (of The Sniffer fame) has launched the second season of her Prosecast for HarperCollins Canada. The first edition features an interview with Vikram Chandra (NYT review of his novel “Sacred Games”).

Congratulations Cathi, and best of luck with the new season.

Hey Dan! Thanks for the good wishes. I have to say it's a blast. Tomorrow I'm interviewing Mo Hayder about her majorly twisted Hannibal Lector meets Double Indemnity novel Pig Island. Hayder's known as Britain's Queen of Terror and deserves the name. Spooky.

And so are those hotdogs my friend. Don't you know where they come from? At least many of them? Worms! And I know whereof I speak because the farmer across the way from me rented his land to a hotdog worm grower last year. What a stink. They use this special kind of manure. What a lot of worms! And to think they're in your stomach. AHHHHH!!!! It's actually true.
